Atlas Orthogonal Technique

The primary adjusting technique at Great River is called Atlas Orthogonal. It is focused on correcting misalignment at the very top of the spine, where the head and neck meet.
The Atlas Orthogonal technique uses a very precisely-directed percussion wave to adjust the first cervical vertebra (the "atlas").
Most people barely feel the adjustment - but they are amazed at the results.

Because each vertebra in the spine is intricately connected to the next, the entire spine is affected.
Since the spine contains the central nervous system, the atlas adjustment affects the entire body.
